Ghost Touch Test – Check Unexpected Screen Touches

Observe whether the browser receives touch contacts while your hands are off the phone. This is a short screening test, not an automatic hardware diagnosis.

What this test checks

  • Unexpected touch-down events within the page viewport
  • Contact locations during a 15-second hands-off observation

How to use it

  1. Clean and dry the screen and place the phone on a stable surface.
  2. Start the test and remove your hands during the three-second countdown.
  3. Wait for the automatic finish. Repeat if contacts were registered without touching the screen.

About this phone test

Does a clean run rule out ghost touch?

No. Intermittent faults may not appear during the short observation. Browser chrome and system gesture areas are outside the test.
