How to use it

  1. Open the touch test and follow the on-screen pattern.
  2. Drag across every edge and corner of the display.
  3. Mark the result, then inspect solid colors for pixel defects.

Understand your results

A drawn trail only verifies the places you touched

Trace closely spaced lines in both directions and revisit any gaps slowly. A responsive point does not prove the surrounding area works. Browser controls and system gesture areas are outside the page test; check those separately in normal use.

Separate touch problems from display defects

Missing touch trails concern input. Dots or persistent image outlines on solid-color screens concern the display. Examine several colors and brightness levels; a browser cannot confirm whether a mark is a damaged pixel, surface dirt or another panel problem.
