TEST GUIDE

Multi-Touch Test – Count Simultaneous Finger Contacts

Visualize simultaneous finger contacts and independent movement, including a manual pinch check. The count reflects what this browser receives, not a certified hardware limit.

What this test checks

  • Current and peak simultaneous touch contacts
  • Movement of multiple fingers within the page viewport

How to use it

  1. Start the test and wait through the countdown.
  2. Place multiple fingers down and move them independently.
  3. Try pinching and watch whether the contacts track your fingers. The test closes after 15 seconds.

Understand your results

Watch movement as well as the peak count

Hold several fingertips on the screen and move each independently. Look for a contact that disappears or jumps while the other fingers stay still. Repeat away from the edges, where system gestures may intercept touches.

The count is not a hardware specification

The peak shows simultaneous contacts received by this browser during this run. Palm rejection and browser or operating-system behavior can change the result. A pinch here visualizes two contacts; it does not test zoom in every app.
